After Rummage I took a nap (it’s almost the end of napping season, so I’ve been desperately trying to take as many as I can before equinox hits and napping feels silly), and then watched Super Troopers which I have to admit I totally and completely loved.
Today I am heading up first to Bellingham to see Susannah and Hank and then continuing up to Vancouver, BC to see my friend Jolayne. Hurrah for overnighters…a quick hit out of the city just long enough to get a new perspective on things.
When I return to Seattle, I’m really going to have to buckle down on the book. Need to have that proposal at least somewhat hammered down by the time I head back to The Paper.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Meow what are you talking about Ariel? Meow I’ve seen some good movies but I thought for a low budget comedy, it was excellent without any star power. Glad you enjoyed it and I can’t wait to see what that skirt is going to look like.

You know, I’d never heard of that movie but it sounds right up my alley, so thanks. And “Used Cars” that someone on IMDB recommends for people who like “Super Troopers” sounds good too. If you’ve never seen “Heartbreakers” or “Galaxy Quest” those are unsung greats. Both with Sigourney Weaver, incidentally.
