Tonight I have been doing something SO GEEKY you would not even believe it. I’m trying to clean out some of the link rot in my archives.
Since my blog has lived in several different places (urbanforest.blogspot.com, arielmeadow.com, arielmeadow.com/electrolicious, and finally electrolicious.com) and used two different content management systems (blogger and movable type), there were hundreds of dead self-referential links. Meaning, many MANY times I’ve said something like “Remember the last time I bla bla bla?” and I’d link bla bla bla to my last post about about whatever it was. But then I moved servers and changed blogging systems, and now those links are dead.
I’ve managed to reformat most of my link rot so that now if you click a dead self-referential link, you just get a ghetto li’l error message. Try it! Hopefully this will ease the overwhelming number of errors logged by my server.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.
You're reading a page from the archives. Check the homepage for current content.

It’s working correctly if you get an error pop-up that shows you a link that looks like this:
http://www.sorry-this-link-is-outdated! cannot be found.
