But I, the pragmatic, realist who also abhorrs dying romantics does not understand the love so strong (sorry) for a rat that one is inspired to create such a memorial as 'Rainbow Bridge'. I am feeling irked. Why?...maybe some primal animal love gene is missing, maybe I am cruel hearted, anyhoo I guess it deserves some pondering. I hope you feel better and can find love in a new (gulp) rat. losing a pet is never easy.
