As far as implicitly supporting objectionable industries... I think you can only go so far. I would be surprised if EVERY company that makes ANYTHING nowadays doesn't have its multinational conglomerate megacorp fingers in SOME kind of entrerprise that would tweak-off left-leaning folks like ourselves. One can't just STOP buying things.  I think all you can do is be CONSCIOUS of your decisions, which clearly... you've done.
