What an incredibly fucking cool idea: Gate 3 WorkClub. As a freelancer, this concept totally resonates with me…a place where you go to work on your own, but you have access to other people, all the supples you need, and where you can host off-site meetings or client calls. Freelancer’s heaven! Granted, it’s in the Bay Area, but whatever: very cool idea. Article about it here. Via MeFi.

This is an awesome idea. Dia (my much better half) was plotting to open such a space in Seattle a couple of years ago . . . not sure what became of the idea, we often have ADD around our house . . . what was I saying?

this is big in new york. HUGE. a lot of people do it just so they can get out of the house and ‘go to work’ when they want to.
as for me - i called in sick today! because i hate my job! and i feel so much better since i’m not at it!

This is like nirvana. We need one in Venice, CA…wish i had a trust fund to create one!
