Today Andreas and I are going to get our marriage license. Um, weird?
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Weird indeed… but awesome.
It’s just a legal extension of your uncategorizable feelings for one other anyway, right? How better could They recognize something so out of the realm of taxes, bills, laws, and ammendments than with a form?
Congratulations to you both, you are both lucky in finding one another…

a license. right.
wonder if it requires a test. written. and practical. lot’s favorite color, birthday, pet peeve questions. and then you have to prove you know how to find the g spot and say “i’m sorry honey, i don’t know what i was thinking.”

thanks for linking to the Seattle city webpage…saves me from searching for it myself. I’m eloping…soon…and I love to read about your big wedding! I’ll have a repeat someday, but right now, I just want some paperwork behind our relationship.
Congratulations!
