Our honeymoon is winding down with a few days in Paris with our ex-pat Seattle friend Nathan and his girlfriend Natasha. We’ve been here since Wednesday and depart tomorrow, headed back down to the Tour du Bon for the “end of the harvest” party. Then we’ll drive up to Apt to spend our last day with T. and her 9 month pregnant belly. We’ll be back in Seattle Tuesday night.

A few random bits of information: 1) european mozarella is made from buffalo milk. 2) I witnessed a homeless person show down at Notre Dame. A toothless man beaned a begging woman with his dirty crutch. 3) We accidently ended up travelling first class on our night train from Madrid to Barcelona. Andreas was so uncomfortable with the luxury that he fell asleep almost immediately. 4) We have struggled constantly with doors. A door in Barcelona that you had to kick the shit out of to open. A door in Madrid that required special key pressing and wiggling. A door in Paris with its own secret access code. I look forward to seeing our door at home…the red one with the oval window; the one that you have to use both hands to get open.
