So your well-worn but hot party gear was what was desired as opposed to, say, your Killer Tomato costume or Darth Cheney get-up. Putting on the pretty stuff that we wear at other times was the point- there's plenty of ridiculous costuming to do this next weekend. PS- You would never see all those dreadfalls and bindis-on-the-forehead kind of post-post-hippie Burning Man costumes on the E. Coast because all the E. Coast kids are too busy spending shitloads of cash on trying to look like homeless people. Hip New York homeless people. With awful haircuts.
