Six Apart released Movable Type version 3.14 which should address the server-side issues being caused by comment spam. I reopened all old comments last night…and blacklist moderated my first comment spam a mere 30 minutes later! sigh… But the issue isn’t really the comment spam (mt-blacklist catches most of it), the issue was server stuff, and hopefully that problem has been solved. That said, Colon Blow would be even better.
In other SUPER GEEKY NEWS: the new Trillian 3.0 pro is awesome! I use chat all day every day to communicate with my coworkers, so it’s well worth it to me to spend the $25 to have have the full featured version of this cross-platform chat program. I ADORE IT.

Is it just my imagination, or do people who use movable type spend every hour of their computing life installing a new version of movable type??

That’s the trade-off for using a CMS that’s so much more feature-rich and user-defined than blogger.com.

But it’s also the downside of using a CMS that’s only half as feature-rich and user-defined as ExpressionEngine! ;P
