Seven years ago…
…Clinton was in office.
…the dotcom boom was just beginning.
…I was finishing my last year of college.
…No one knew about 9/11.
…My parents had yet to finalize their divorce.
…Andreas had barely any chest hair.
…My best friend from college was still around.
…I connected to the internet via a 56k modem.
…Andreas worked at a movie theater and a book store.
And seven years ago today was the beginning of Andreas and my relationship. Seven years of schnoifitude and smiles and spaciness and cuddles. And now we’re married and getting ready to buy a house and it’s hard to believe that it’s been so long. 7 years down, 70 to go!
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Congratulations! And from personal experience, I can tell you it only gets better and better. I’ve known Paul since we were 16 years old. We were best friends who “caught fire”. We’ve been married 11 years and I’m still amazed that it does only get better.
Congratulations to you and Andreas. *toast* Here’s to the next 70 years! *clink*
