Two albums I can’t stop listening to:

           

Freeworm is ranking as some of my most favorite “livetronica” — a category that includes Signal Path and Slide Five. A mix of chill downtempo rythmns, world music sounds, and weird organic samples, it makes me all happy and is great working music. Steeps is my favorite track.

As for Player, yes, I realize that the main song, “Starlight,” was a club anthem four years ago, but I guess I didn’t go out much in 2001, becaue I missed it and this is exactly my style of super gay, super happy, super funky Parisian disco.
