Lots of girlie time in Venice this weekend. Surrounded by some of my favorite women in the world, including Heidi, seen above. This trip is reminding me of my Lotus Days, when I edited in Seattle for a company in LA and had to take many business trips south for what would inevitably SOME work, but would also just be a lot of sun and food and good conversation. Today I had a big brunch and went biking around Venice on my old beloved beach cruiser, currently cared for by Sarah.
Tonight there’s a housewarming party, and then I’ll be checking into a hotel in Universal City and the business part of this business trip will begin in earnest. Remember, all roads lead to the mouse!

Hey ariel…I’m Jennifer….i had a “hey, that’s ARIEL moment at abbot’s habit in Venice on Saturday…it was really cool/surreal/great to meet you ever so briefly. Yes, I’m a LURKER. Maybe we can have a coffee next time you’re in town!

We had SUCH a lovely time with you, A. In some ways it was a visit as if you never left. Especially when watching our favorite show, Six Feet Under. What fun!
