I’m in Los Angeles for several days, visiting with friends for the weekend and then doing my Mouse Indoctrination corporate training next week. I’ve only been here a five hours, and I’ve already spent almost a fourth of my time in traffic! Ah, Los Angeles. Sometimes it’s fun.
On the roster for this weekend: drinking, smoking, gossiping, pedicuring, khiting, sunbathing, and hopefully swimming in the Pacific.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

I hope this cloud cover melts off for you this afternoon! It’s been sort of dismal this week in the mornings, but usually sunny by afternoon. And traffic is more bearable with either (a) a fabulous CD in the player or (b) NPR or (c) KCRW. Oh & a soy latte. But you’re from Seattle, so our coffee probably tastes like swill. Tho, I recommend Kings Road cafe on Beverly/Kings. I always forget how truly great their coffee is…
