Dance party broken up by police in Utah. What is this, N30 2000?
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

ah yes, but lest we forget this is utah, where liquor (in most counties) cannot be purchased or consumed on sundays, where in 1993 they banned ALL high school extra-curricular clubs to eliminate ONE rabble rousing club (the gay/straight alliance created to encourage tolerance), where they have banned the airing of anti-war ads on local tv stations featuring Cindy Sheehan’s sit in at George’s Texas Ranch and the home of cleanflicks–who edit all the R-rated content out of films to market to local mormon residents.
hell, i remember living in utah, and it was well-known than anyone in “hippie” garb or vehicle (i.e. vw bus) was pulled over on principle. i suppose it was just a matter of time before the dance scene was hit.
