I know I’ve already put the research call out before to readers who had untraditional weddings. But just in case there are any of you still out there who are interested, I’ve set up an email list for those who would like to be involved in my research. Join up if you’d like to answer questions about your wonderful weird wedding!

There’s a thread today on Stereogum.com about people playing indie music at weddings. That might be a good place to put out this message.

My wedding was pretty traditional, but we went the indie-music route, as well. We burned our own CDs and had the reception hall play those instead of going with a DJ. I did miss not being able to request “Superfreak,” though.
On another note, can I pick your brain for freelance writing tips? If so, I’ll send you an email later on. Thanks.
