I’ve grown accustomed to working with boys. When I edited Lotus, I was the only girl involved with the publishing team, and lots of chat about fake boobs and video games was de rigueur during my business trips to Los Angeles. I don’t really think much about being the only girl on the editorial team here at work, since typically I can gross out just about anyone with my truly vile sense of humor. I’m not much of a delicate flower when it comes to locker room talk.
However! It is a little awkward when, in a slight corporate haze, I trail behind my two male coworkers to a production meeting down the hall … only to find that I’ve followed them right into the men’s room.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

You know… I actually had that happen once, but I nearly ended in the men’s locker room instead. You have to wonder whose dignity is more compromised in those situations. ;o)
I must say though, that I still talk about your Tiger Balm story as the Stuff Legends are Made On.
