Dash, dash, dash, I say! Lots of clucking about these days. Andreas is taking a Chemistry class two nights a week. I’m taking yoga two mornings a week. He plays soccer one night a week (when he’s not injured, and lately he seems to be injured a lot). The three evenings a week when he’s out, I work on my book. We usually go to bed at 10:30. I’m usually up around 6. These days, I find myself gravitating towards other people who lead busy, creative lives … it’s inspiring and there are less excuses to make about why we don’t have much time to hang out.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

why is he taking chemistry? just for fun? if so, that makes him (you, dre) very weird.
i wish i was more productive. i’m tired and busy all the time but none of it is particularly productive. earlier this year i was getting a lot done. now i’m just missing a lot of sleep.

Dre’s got this semi-longterm interest in medicine. Maybe doing nursing school or being a physician’s assistant. He’s got a BA, but he’s working slowly to get his medical-type pre-reqs out of the way in the hopes of some day, a few years down the line, going back to school full-time.

I’m so opposite hour-wise. I wake up at 8 and go to bed at 12. I’m a nighthawk.

You have entirely too much free time, and entirely too much fun. It’s time to have some kids.

Dr. Dave, I’m holding you to the same standards that I hold my friends and family to: PLEASE ONLY HARRASS ME ABOUT BREEDING A MAXIMUM OF ONCE PER MONTH. THANK YOU!

Bah, full-time schooling is over-rated. what i wouldn’t give for a secure career, constant income, and nice home ( with newly painted den). sigh. stupid dorms.

Hey, I was wondering…
How come we haven’t been hanging out as much lately?

Breeding is for those common folk who are not creative enough to write a book. There are more than enough humans in the world, although not many as cool as A &D. Back off and let the woman create, not procreate!
