Yesterday at a work meeting we were discussing Carpet Burn, my upcoming celeb fashion blog/column. I was trying to express some concerns about the scalability of the design, and all I managed to get out was, “In some cases, a post’s wit will be in its brevity and —” before the production team started snickering.

I was once mountain biking on a trail where there are also hikers. I made it to the top of a tough hill for the first time and who should I see but my mom. The only thing that would came to me in my excitement was “Mom! You’ve come at an accomplished time!”

Remember, Ariel? I can’t read The Superficial any more. They’ve got great celeb photos, but I just can’t stand that guy’s writing style. Mean and just not funny.
