DAMN, that was so much fun. I heartily recommend that everyone try hosting an embarrassing diary reading in their hometown. It’s truly a sight to behold, simultaneously cathartic and hilarious. Thanks to everyone who came, and every who read! I’ll definitely be hosting another Salon of Shame sometime after the holidays. That, Marc, is Snoopy. Even as a 13-year-old, I prefered journals to diaries, and the cover of this diary was emblazoned with DIE SNOOPY DIE! written in black Sharpie. I didn’t particularly hate Snoopy, but I hated that diary. It even had a lock on it, which struck me as unbelievably childish, even in 8th grade.
