Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
I’m actually sort of exhausted after our trip to San Francisco. I wore many hats over the weekend including niece, author, wine taster, navigator, colleague, credibility booster, blogger, paranoid, aging raver, overeater, friend to angelenos, friend to new yorkers, friend to san franciscans, driver, party pooper, lagger, diffuser, apologist, documenter, hooper, critic, laugher, flyer, etc. I bought my requisite pair of totally impractical Haight Street shoes and had the worst dining experience of my life. Stories, photos, etc. to come later this week, once I get caught up on everything else.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

it was so so good to see you for a while, hoop and all. you missed such a unique and beautiful party on sunday night - ocean dunes, moonlight, illuminated trees and breakbeats….. but i understand exhaustion. i didn’t even get out of bed until after sunset on monday i was so spent.
SF loves you; come back soon
