Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
I have had a shit-stick of a month. A short summary: I fainted, my grandmother died, a bunch of ravers got executed by a psychopath, and then this morning a cat committed suicide on the front tire of my car. Gato, why would you run into a four lane street full of traffic? The road was packed! What were you thinking? More importantly, I’m sorry.
Wake me up when it’s April, please.

Here, here! I knew that March was going to be crap when I lost my $100 subway pass on the 5th of the month. It’s been downhill ever since, though I have to admit, your Bad Month kicks my Bad Month’s ass. I hope April is better for you!

March has been shit sandwhiches for pretty much everyone I know. Mercury was in retrograde for most of it. Regardless, I can only assume things will get better, because it’s hard for me to imagine them being worse. I am very ready for warmer weather and better times.

I always looked forward to March when I was in college — spring break, woooo!
Since college is long over and I’m a working stiff now, I usually compare March to what doldrums would’ve been like for trans-atlantic ships — no wind, no excitement, no nothing. Certainly no fun!

yikes! about the cat story.
that happened to me too, this cat shot out in traffic, it was upsetting.
about a year or so later a stray9who look like the aforementioned cat, showed up at our door, a little bit of a thing, and has been living with us since.
are these two stories related, most likely not, but it made up for the cat guilt i was feeling.
here’s to a better April

Ack! That’s a lot of krap to happen in one month. Too much badness.
I hope the last couple of days of March go smoothly, and that the amazing scent of blossoms in the air makes up for it a little bit.
