I've found that the kid's Z Bars (Cliff bars for kids, naturally) are tasty and addictive and I know I should stop eating them but I am powerless. Plus, I figure it's better to eat one of those than bake and eat a chocolate cake. Right? RIGHT?

i remember reading some long article warning women on diets to avoid them b/c of their high caloric/high carb count in such innocuous/"healthy" packaging. most of them are the same as eating a Snickers, just more expensive anyway. i myself, however, live off the things as i barely eat one whole meal a day. they make mini Clif Bars? i want some!

I like them for when I'm at school all day with no time for lunch. If I could get a food pill, I would, but until then, Clif Bars seem like a reasonable enough substitute. I don't know anything about nutrition but there sure are a lot of HIGH PERCENTAGES on the side. Whee!

Agreed. Are you talking about Clif Bars or protein/energy/Power bars in general? Even when I'm doing crazy exercisy stuff (like bike touring or mountain climbing) it's too much stuff in my delicate tummy. Then I put the half-eaten clif bar back in my pack, it comes unwrapped and sticks to everything and/or freezes, etc. I've found the Mini Clif Bars are the perfect size, though.

i always carry a cliff bar around with me. good for hypoglycemic emergencies! and slightly more practical than carrying around a tupperware full of snacks. also you never know when you will need to be a bad-ass on a moment's notice.
