Two years ago this weekend, Dre and I got married! That doesn’t really matter (hell, nine years ago this New Years will be our real anniversary), but we do throw a big “disco campout” for our friends every year at Sacred Groves and this is the weekend! If you missed them last year, take a look at the pix from campout 2005. This year we have less Angelenos (waaah) and more hula hoopers (yaaah!). I’m especially excited for Julia’s pregnant bellydancing show tomorrow night. Anyway, this is all to say don’t expect words for a few days, and expect lots of pictures on Monday. WOOHOO!
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

i’m glad to see the “disco camping” phenomenon is spreading. or, at least, the term is. we all know disco camping has been around for thousands of years… the natives had that dressing up in costume/imbibing/dancing until sunrise thing down LONG before the ravers.
i really wish i could join you!
