If you’re still hosting your website with dr2 (aka mesopia aka netbunch) who were acquired by WebHostPlus, you need to read this … and then you need to get a new webhost.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

THIS MORE THAN SUCKS! my whole day has been answering to angry clients about their sites that are down. i loved dr2. this is beyond irritating! i guess nothing is fool-proof when it comes to the internet.

fortunately for us, we’d just moved our sites and all our clients off the of netbunch the week before due to the poor customer service.
much sympathies to their clients!

My site along with email was down for a week. I couldn’t get in touch with anyone. It was so frustrating. I gave up and switched hosts. Netbunch/webhost plus SUCKS!!! I lost a lot of important emails when that crap happened.

Wow…I had no idea these folks were still limping along! I was with DR2 back when it was good and then when it got bad and finally morphed into Mesopia I quickly said my goodbyes. The sad truth about web hosting is that a great company one year can be a totally sucky one the next. It’s all about customer service really…when you start seeing problems with lack of communication and multiple problems over the course of months the best solution is to find a new host…and FAST.
Sorry to those of you who’ve had to struggle through this.

This is by far the WORST company I have EVER used. When they were “managed”, they were ok at BEST, but as soon as WebHostPlus took over, they went to hell. My servers go down randomly, I have to send 30 emails without a single response, their customer service is pretty much nonexistent. They have no online support, they have no phone support. These people are the biggest moron’s I’ve ever dealt with on the internet. I’m surprised they are able to breath by themselves, much less run a terrible company.
