I found your blog via your post on Mars Hill (great post!!!), from a post on BCWA...

I'm a huge fan of Bento lunches, and can't get my friends to quite understand my fascination. I've got myself some of those adorable boxes from various asian stores, including Uwajimaya, as well as some sauce jars and cups, and cookie cutters for the fun shapes. Unfortunately I'm not much of a cook, so I don't actually make many of these cute lunches (though I love making pink rice!), and they've yet to put a Trader Joe's up in Anacortes yet. Anyway, it's nice to see another Bento lover in the Seattle area!!!

This is hilarious. I was just thinking while on my walk this morning that I needed to e-mail you and ask about your bento lunches. My question was whether you made them at home or at work, which I see you've answered indirectly above. I hadn't realized that the bowls were a set designed for this purpose, however, nor that Mr. Bento was the name of them. I'll have to try this, even though I work at home!
