Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
Just got word yesterday that my book release has been changed to February, for publicity purposes. I don’t really care when the book comes out, but it’s definitely an odd experience for someone used to push-button publishing to have to wait. You mean, something I finished writing in June won’t be readable until February?! Unfathomable!
In the meantime, I have the development of offbeatbride.com to keep me busy. Ooh, it’s going to be cool. And while I think I’m leaving Elish on MT for now, obb.com will be built with WordPress.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

as your sister in jumping pub dates, i imagine this is what it would feel like to be 8 months preggers and be told that you’re not going to deliver until 10 months, only without the swollen ankles and hemorrhoids.

Ariel Meadow,
I am seriously bummed about your book being put off, because I am getting married, and as a product of hippies, who has been described as “creative” and “full of life” (read: off beat) I want to read your book! Dagnabbit! Oh, well. I’ll wait and read it anyway. Keep up your good and genius work.
