"Absorbent Mind" is likely a Montessort school: that's the name of one critical facet of the Montessori Method.

(And yes, I still miss teaching.)

Hurray for Mel. Priceless.

My first job was a teacher's assistant at Hurray for Me!. The registered business name actually includes the exclamation mark, so my family and I used to joke that it was Hurray for Mel. Go Mel!

That's nothing Vera. For years in Seattle, there was a german themed gift shop called 'Das Gift Haus'. Obviously not run by native german speakers.

"Der Kinderhaus" is so horrible because it's grammatically incorrect. It should be "Das Kinderhaus." It drives me crazy that they didn't do their research.
