Doesn’t that sound like the name of an adult contemporary radio station? Quiet Rain, 106.1! Or something.
Anyway, it’s been rainy all week and it seems I’ve been awfully quiet. I mean, there was the first anniversary of the Salon of Shame, which was awesome and not quiet at all. And I’ve been drooling over this Boston Terrier I want to adopt, a female with four legs but only three feet who I desperately want to rename Peggy. Dre and I are going to meet her next weekend. Oh and we’re thinking of going to Bali in March. But other than that, it’s been quiet time in these parts. Lots of naps and warm showers and pink sweatpants.
This weekend we’re driving south to Eugene, OR, to hang out with some friends. I think I will bring my pink sweatpants.
I leave you with this Salon of Shame segment, a clip of my beloved Cienna Madrid reading “The Scarlet O,” her teenaged-self’s erotic re-imagining of The Scarlet Letter.
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

Yay! We’ve missed the last two so I’m happy to get a chance to watch it here.
