Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

good luck with this. is this an example of when blogs go bad or what? i can appreciate the jobster CEO wanting to pacify everyone who’s responding to the rumors, but maybe he should have left out that “profitability or bust” statement from his own blog post??? not encouraging.
then again, maybe i’m just used to the coded doublespeak and/or eerie silence of the megacorps i have temped at. for some odd reason i’ve come to find their predictable morale-quashing-ness — dare i say? — comforting. in other words, at least you know what you’re getting.
i lived in the bay area during the 90s and moved to seattle late in 98 when the dotcom crap hit the fan. haven’t trusted one since, though i’ve always heard great things about jobster. i hope they pull it together.
