Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
I have an interview airing Monday on Northwest Afternoon, a local afternoon talk show. The show is on between 3 and 4pm, and I’m not sure at what point my segment will air. Norah Vincent will be on the show too, however, so it’s worth watching the whole thing.
The real question is, who can get the segment onto youtube first? A free book to the tivo geek who makes the magic happen!
Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

gah! I’ve been sick all day and didn’t log in to my computer until 3:20, when a message popped up-”Ariel on KOMO at 3!” I ran to the tv and caught the last few minutes, but I don’t know what I missed before that. Great job!

I just watched it at work with Ron, Joni and Conrado. We all agree: Great job!

I TiVo’d it and laughed when I saw your little blazer. I personally think you shouldn’t have worried about looking more mature. The best part about you is your personal syle and it would have been cool to see you on there in some striped socks and layered tops. Still you did a great job. Although I think the woman who interviewed you is going to turn up on some “buy your own sex doll” show sometime. I swear she’s a robot.

It’s so sad … *I* still haven’t seen it! My friend who was supposed to get it online for me fell through, and now I’m trying to explore alternate options like taking a video of a tv screen. LOW TECH! :O
