		<description>I have special work needs as well.  The only way I will go back to a formal work place will be part-time.  I had such special needs even before having a kid.  Now I get to pretend that I put a well balanced meal on the table every night and vacuum regularly.</description>

		<description>happy employees also equals $ savings for companies. less turnover. i wish more companies would get with the program and stop thinking that planting your ass in the cube 8 hours a day = working. most FT people piss away 25% of their day (reading blogs, no doubt) at the office anyway. </description>

		<description>Excellent point, Ariel.  I wonder if more employers would be willing to work with us on that work/life balance if we just asked, instead of assuming we have to follow the rules that are supposedly set in stone for everyone?  A happy employee is a productive employee.  :)</description>
