    Mmm, what to make of Britney’s latest publicity stunt? Curiously, she still makes headlines over here in the UK but I for one don’t consider her life story newsworthy. At all. why it should take up space in radio/TV news bulletins or online is beyond me. But as the post you link to suggests, a lot of people appear to ‘care’ about celebs, in a morbid curiosity kind of way that I find disturbing. Those who are interested in what Britney gets up to generally have no idea about what is going on in the world, nor could they give a hoot about Iran, Dubya or anything else. They probably have no idea what is going on in their local community, but they can probably tell you what Britney did last night, the name of her dog, her favourite colour and where she gets her hair done…
