Last night was the release party for my book! It was bachelorette themed, and tacky in all the best ways with penis cake, girls in veils, obscene water bottles, and a stripper named Kevin Heaven. There was also a sock puppet. Many many loved ones were there including a big chunk of my family, former coworkers from three different companies, lots of Offbeat Brides quoted in the book, and many friends new and old … pretty much the best night a writerly type can have. Ben, Dawn and my Evil Twin all took pictures.
