Despite the fact that I write about both of them in all manner of humiliating ways in my book, my parents have been nothing but loving and supportive the entire way. My dad even presented me with a special congratulations cake after my hometown reading on Sunday. You can see more photos from that over here. (Thanks, Ben!)
