Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.

I hear you. When I lived in Seattle I’d go to Hopvine for lunch anytime I wasn’t working during the week. When there were only three or four people in the place service was great. But /every single time/ I brought friends after work or on the weekend food took for-ev-er. It got to be so embarrassing (”Really, guys, the food will be great when it comes, I promise!”) I gave up on going when I wasn’t alone and the place wasn’t dead.
