Great article, thanks for the link. Reminds me that I need to write a blog post about Rollergirl (written by the s.o. of a friend), which I just finished reading recently. GREAT book about women with spunk and a D.I.Y. attitude creating a sport, a league, a governing body, and even their own alter-egos. I want to make sure that people who wouldn’t think to pick up a book about roller derby don’t miss it. (Who knows? With a little word of mouth, it might become a bestseller!
