Just a logistical update for those who are curious: our house is being inspected this week, and hopefully we’ll be all confirmed on Friday for a 9/14 closing. As for the condo, we’re aiming to move in next weekend, but of course it’s contingent on the builder being done with all the remodeling work. Supposedly they’re running on schedule so I’m optimistic, but as our Realtor said, “Don’t go renting the moving van just yet.”

Dre and I are both super excited to move, although aware of the challenges … most notably, taking Sassy for walks instead of just rolling over in bed, opening the french doors and mumbling, “Go potty.” Also: we have a lot of crap to get rid of. Seattle friends: we’ll be having a garage give-away in a couple weeks. Come take our shit!
