The hooping workshop was a fun, although I could have used a bit more technical direction and/or focused instruction. It was more like just a hooping party. Regardless, I got myself an awesome new hoop (smaller than my first, and much prettier), and picked up a couple new moves.

Sadly, the car ride home found me head-achey, nauseus, and generally nasty feeling from not eating enough all day. What a sad way to finish up a nice afternoon. I had to come home and collapse into bed to make the bad feelings go away.

Here’s where you can see the important steps I took to achieve my new and improved hair status: Steps 1-10 (be forewarned that the images are really big. I’m too lazy to fix right now). Step 11, the final result after having a professional work on it, can be seen at right.

The weirdest thing about this whole cutting off my dreads process (last post about hair, I promise: then I’m really done talking about this shit)…my hair is now wavy. How weird is that? In the back it’s become all crazy curly wacky, and let me tell you: my hair has always been really REALLY straight. I can’t figure out what happened, but I’m not complaining.
