Daily affirmations of a word mercenary
So, maybe you don’t come here every day to read about me and my life. Maybe you secretly come here every day wondering what’s up with Andreas. Who is this mysterious character? What in the world is he up to? Here’s a quick li’l run-down of all things Andreas:
Yesterday, Andreas had a six hour interview [...]
Last night I had a dream about a classroom full of Grim Reapers-in-training. Each Grim was sitting at one of those little chairs with a desk attached, and they were explaining all the reasons why they were interested in joining the Reaper industry.
“I’m really good with people,” one eyeless talking skull explained.
“I like to help [...]
Best part of working three blocks from your father: spontaneous sidewalk family reunions with hugging!
Worst part of working three blocks from your father: he knows when you’re running 20 minutes late for work.
Things I can see from my desk:
1. The hill Andreas and I will hopefully be migrating to (Beacon)
2. The building where I’m convinced Andreas will be getting a job (505 Union Station)
1. I’ve decided that The Ffectometer is the built in editorial reflex for whether you want to type “affect” or “effect.” My Ffectometer is pretty broken, but I’m working on it.

Now that fall is creeping into Seattle, it’s time to bulk up our Netflix rental queue, so yes: I’m looking for recommendations. I tend towards escapist flicks (comedies, musicals, heartwarming indies) and documentaries, while Dre likes the darker foreign art films.
If you want to avoid suggestion something we’ve already seen, check the extended entry. And [...]
