Tech agony

21 Dec 2007 In: Geek Out

I’m quite glad it’s the shortest day of the year (sunrise: 7:55 / sunset: 4:20 — Gaia says spark it up for the solstice, pagans!) because I am dealing with nothing but TECH WOES today.

  1. My mom let her domain expire. Tech support at her old registrar is less than helpful. Progress is very, very slow. Resolved! That only took a week and 5 hours on the phone!
  2. I simply don’t like my Blackberry Curve. So I’m returning it. Need to print out my return slip …
  3. Oops! Printer is out of four colors of ink ink. Go fetch ink. Get five right cartridges, one wrong cartridge. Of course even though that cartridge is yellow, I can’t print a black & white document when one cartridge is out. LAME!

I love my belove machines, but sometimes I get crabby at it all.

To celebrate solstice, perhaps I will go to bed at 5pm!

Hey there. I'm Ariel Meadow Stallings, a native Seattleite who's written my way up and down the Left Coast. Electrolicious is where I post daily randomata, but I also write for a living. My first book, Offbeat Bride, was published last year.
